Today I am working on a project to take 15-20 injured and recovering Iraqi Veterans to Florida in January for a sailfishing tournament we do every year with the Outdoor Channel. This is something I have been working on for a number of weeks now, working with the VA hospitals provides its challenges but everything always seems to come together in the end. I was supplied with a list of 15 confirmed names today so we are one step closer to making it happen.
This is just one of the many projects we do through the Paralyzed Veterans of America Heritage Fund. I have been very fortunate over the past 7-8 years, working with Veterans and other sportsman with various disabilities has really had an impact on my life and this pushes me to work harder every day to make more things happen.
